- AMABILIS, a priest in Tiom in Auvergne, who reposed in 475. He is invoked against fire and snakes.
- AUSTREMONIUS (STREMOINE), a third century missionary in Auvergne who became the first Bishop of Clermont-Ferrand.
- BENIGNUS, a second century martyr venerated in Dijon from early times. The Cathedral of St Benignus is built over his tomb.
- CADFAN, born in Brittany, he went to Wales in the early sixth century, where he founded several monasteries. He is mainly linked with Towyn in Gwynedd and Bardsey Island.
- CAESARIUS AND JULIAN, a deacon and the latter a priest from North Africa who were martyred in Terracina. The church of St Caesarius in Rome is dedicated to St Caesarius.
- CAESARIUS, a bishop of Clermont who reposed circa 627.
- CAILLIN, living in the seventh century, he was a disciple of St Aidan of Ferns.
- CEITHO, An abbot, and one of the five brothers of the great Welsh family of Cunedda. All of the brothers are counted as saints. The church at Llangeith in Dyfed was founded by St. Ceitho.
- CLEDWYN (CLYDWYN), the patron saint of Llangedwyn in Clwyd.
- DINGAD, possibly the son of a Welsh king, he was a fifth century hermit and was patron of Llandingat Church (in Llandovery) in Carmarthenshire and of Dingestow in Monmouthshire in Wales.
- FLORIBERT (FLORBERT), an abbot of monasteries in Ghent, Mont-Blandin and Saint-Bavon. He reposed circa 660.
- GENESIUS, a monk at Fontenelle who went on to serve as chaplain at the palace of Queen Bathild, and in 658 was consecrated bishop of Lyons. He reposed at the convent of Chelles near Paris circa 679.
- GERMANUS OF MONTFORT, a native of Montfort in Brittany who became a monk at the monastery of Savigny. He reposed as a hermit in 1000.
- LICINIUS (LESIN), a monk of noble origin who was consecrated by St Gregory of Tours (17th November) as bishop of Angers 586 and reposed circa 616.
- MARCELLUS, a bishop of Paris, who was buried in the old Christian cemetery outside the walls of the city circa 430. The area of the cemetery is now known as Saint-Marceau.
- MARY THE SLAVE, a slave-girl in the household of a patrician Roman, who was venerated as a martyr on account of her sufferings during the persecution of Diocletian circa 300.
- MATHURIN (MATURINUS), born near Sens in Burgundy, he was converted and ordained by the bishop of that city. In time he converted his own parents and successfully enlightened his native region.
- PABIALI, believed to have been descended from a local Welsh king, he is the patron of Partypallai in Wales.
- SEVERINUS, a monk who lived as a hermit in Tivoli in Lazio. He reposed circa 699 and his relics are in the church of St Laurence in Tivoli.
- VIGOR, a disciple of St Vedast (6th February) who a hermit, a priest, then bishop of Bayeux. He was a resolute opponent of paganism, and reposed circa 537.
* - Prior to the Schism the Patriarchate of Rome was Orthodox and fully in communion with the Orthodox Church. As Saint John of Shanghai and San Francisco +1966 said "The West was Orthodox for a thousand years, and her venerable Liturgy is far older than any of her heresies."
